About PrimeCoat
A paint company that also picks up the brush
PrimeCoat began as a small painting crew in Lagos that could not find paint good enough for the finishes clients wanted. So we started making it. Today we supply premium coatings across Nigeria and still send our own painters to apply them.
What we believe
Four principles behind every tin
Honest formulation
We publish coverage figures and finish types for every product, and we only sell what we would put on our own walls.
Preparation first
Most paint failures are preparation failures. Our crews prime, fill and sand before a single topcoat goes on.
Colour for Nigerian light
Our palette is developed and tested under the bright, warm light of Lagos and Abuja, not a northern-European studio.
Respect for your home
Furniture covered, floors protected, tidy at the end of every day. We treat your space as if it were ours.
